Cuban roots, lived motherhood experience and joyful movement in Vienna.
Mamá Ludi is a Cuban mother, dance instructor and the founder of Mommylicious Dance — a professional movement experience created especially for mothers and babies in Vienna.
In 2020, during the pandemic, she experienced pregnancy, childbirth and postpartum depression at a time when many of the spaces mothers normally depend on had disappeared. Motherhood became beautiful, intense and deeply isolating all at once.
Coming from Cuba, where music, rhythm and human warmth are part of daily life, she understood something deeply: a mother should not have to lose herself silently after giving birth. She needs moments of joy, movement, connection and space to feel alive again.
To create joyful, culturally rooted movement experiences where mothers can reconnect with themselves, dance with their babies and feel seen in their motherhood journey.
Mommylicious Dance is Mamá Ludi’s professional paid dance program. Her wider commitment to maternal connection and inclusion also lives through The Mama Vida Club, the nonprofit community initiative created to support mothers in Vienna.
